Almost all creativity involves meaningful play.

What are the games from your childhood? Game of Goose, Ludo, Monopoly? Fun to play, but at some point you’ve seen it. Why is that?
In games such as Ludo, the die determines most of the game. You roll the die, walk the number of squares it indicates and hope you don’t end up in the pit.
OK, in Ludo, you decide which pawn to walk with. And in Monopoly, you can negotiate. But all in all, the die is decisive. Luck determines who wins or loses.
And then Settlers of Catan came on the market.
In this, the dice only determine which resources you get. Then it’s up to you as a player to determine your strategy. You determine your plan, adjust it when others thwart it and try to get fellow players to make a favourable deal with you.
Catan paved the way for a stream of games that appeal to the player’s knowledge and skills. And new games are added every year.
Board players are living in a Golden Age!
Add to this the fact that there is a new generation of gamers in your class. The group for whom online gaming is a natural fit is growing.
In Minecraft, the new generation builds houses, villages and cities while chatting online with peers from all over the world.
Game elements appeal to children and challenge them to solve problems, learn new techniques and deepen knowledge.
Games are future-proof learning material!
